After flying high against the Halifax Wildcats on Tuesday, the Williams Valley Vikings came back down to earth. The contest between Williams Valley and Schuylkill Haven wasn't particularly close, with Williams Valley falling 35-20. Williams Valley was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Schuylkill Haven apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Williams Valley now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Schuylkill Haven, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williams Valley will take on Line Mountain at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Schuylkill Haven, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Halifax at 1:00 p.m. Halifax comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
