Glencoe dropped down to 3-5 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Carney Bulldogs by a score of 4-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 back in August.
As for Carney, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.9 runs over those games.
