The Higley Knights are on the road again on Monday and play against the Basha Bears at 7:00 p.m. on December 11th. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Thursday, Higley earned a 62-51 victory over Corona del Sol.
It was another big night for Noah Gloor, who scored 28 points along with 5 assists. The contest was his eighth in a row with at least ten points. Gavin Dabney was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with 5 assists.
Meanwhile, Basha entered their tilt with Mountain Pointe with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Basha blew past Mountain Pointe 74-39 at home. Considering Basha has won five matches by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Higley's defeat dropped theirs to 3-4.
Things could have been worse for Higley, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 67-51 loss to Basha in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. Thankfully for Higley, Torin Bosch (who shot 4-for-6 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 28 points and 12 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
