Nuview Bridge scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 14-5 to the Woodcrest Christian Royals. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Joshy Rodriguez was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Rodriguez was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That run was his first of the season.

Rodriguez wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Tobias Olague, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Carlos Candelario also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Nuview Bridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Woodcrest Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Nuview Bridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-4 loss against Bloomington on the 1st. As for Woodcrest Christian, they have also already played their next game, a 4-1 defeat against Temescal Canyon on the 1st.
