The St. Paul Swordsmen will head out on the road to take on the La Salle Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
St. Paul's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. Their rough 60-36 defeat to St. Anthony might stick with them for a while. They were outmatched by St. Anthony at home and fell 58-20. La Salle was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-10.
St. Paul bumped their record down to 10-13 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for La Salle, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 19-4.
St. Paul lost to La Salle on the road by a decisive 52-36 margin in their previous matchup on January 4th. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of La Salle's Casey Higgins, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 16 rebounds.
