Baseball Recap: Credo Has No Trouble Against Roseland Collegiate Prep

Credo won the last time they faced Roseland Collegiate Prep and things went their way on Tuesday too. Credo was the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over Roseland Collegiate Prep. Considering the Gryphon have won three matchups by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Thadeus Cole made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. That's the first time he hasn't allowed a single hit since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Braeden Swift, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Amos Geist also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Credo now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Roseland Collegiate Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
