Baseball Recap: Jordan Beats Spencer for Their Third Straight Win

Jordan waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Spencer Greenwave as they made off with a 13-1 victory. Considering the Red Jackets have won nine matches by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Jadon Riedel, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. John Dollar was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Jordan's record is now 11-5. As for Spencer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jordan will face off against Kendrick at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jordan is facing Kendrick at the right time seeing as Kendrick is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Spencer, they will take on Sumter County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sumter County has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.75 runs per game on average), something Spencer will no doubt try to take advantage of.
