It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the ESAT Grizzlies had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 8-1 margin over the Huskies. It was an even better day for Emily Martinez-Herrera as she scored three goals for her team.
ESAT's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8-1. As for Simon Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.
ESAT will head out on the road to square off against Animo Bunche at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. ESAT will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last. Simon Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
