The York County Tech Spartans were the 43-36 winner over the Hanover Nighthawks when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. York County Tech took a 46-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hanover on Wednesday. York County Tech has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, York County Tech saw an underclassman step up: Hailey Anderson scored nine points.
York County Tech has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Hanover, their victory bumped their record up to 1-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. York County Tech will take on Biglerville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hanover, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against York Catholic at 6:00 p.m. York Catholic is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
