Northfield had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 14-9 win over the Westminster Wolves. This was payback for the Nighthawks, who suffered a 16-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Coming up, Northfield will venture away from home to challenge Denver South at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Nighthawks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Westminster, they have already played their next contest, a 10-5 defeat against Douglas County on the 18th.
