Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Calexico Mission, who are still winless after their fifth contest. They were dealt a 83-10 loss at the hands of Warner on Tuesday. Calexico Mission has struggled against Warner recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
The losing side was boosted by Carla Mariscal, who scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season.
San Pasqual Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-2. As for Calexico Mission, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-5.
Everything went San Pasqual Academy's way against Calexico Mission in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as San Pasqual Academy made off with a 39-16 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for San Pasqual Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
