Last Monday, everything went Kensington's way against Motivation as Kensington made off with a 40-16 victory.
Kensington got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was CRYSTA JENKINS out in front who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was DIAMOND SHULER, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Philadelphia High School for Girls waltzed into their game Monday with two straight wins but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 45-24 margin over Abraham Lincoln. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Philadelphia High School for Girls has managed all season.
Among those leading the charge was Mahiyah Azuakoemu, who scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Murray , who scored 12 points.
The victory got Kensington back to even at 1-1. As for Philadelphia High School for Girls, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
Kensington lost to Philadelphia High School for Girls at home by a decisive 54-39 margin when the teams last played back in January. Can Kensington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
