On Tuesday, Bayfront Charter had to suffer through a rough 55-24 loss at the hands of University City. Bayfront Charter was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-9.
University City got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kianna LeFear out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that LeFear pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Topanga Tusantoso, who scored 14 points.
Bayfront Charter's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-6-1. As for University City, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.
Bayfront Charter and Castle Park will face off at 5:00 p.m. on December 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. University City and Scripps Ranch will face off at 11:00 a.m. on December 21st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Scripps Ranch is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
