The Mize Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Pisgah Dragons at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Mize sitting on four straight wins and Pisgah on eight.
Mize's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Heidelberg as they made off with a 15-0 victory. That 15-run margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

Cale Tudor was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Graham Davis was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
Mize always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .900. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Pisgah made easy work of Union on Friday and carried off a 12-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
Easton Channell made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Pisgah let Cooper Brown and Austin Sanders run wild. Brown went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double, while Sanders went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That double was Brown's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ryder White, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Mize's record now sits at 9-4. As for Pisgah, their record is now 11-1-2.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Saturday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Mize has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.3 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Pisgah struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 9.6 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
