The team also got some help courtesy of  Kanlee Douglas, who  went 2-for-4 with one  run and one  double.
Coffee's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lanier County, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
 Looking ahead, Coffee will challenge Brantley County at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Lanier County, they will face off against Brooks County at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
