Sylmar has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Panorama Pythons at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Sylmar scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 83-41 victory over Reseda at home. Sylmar has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 26 points or more this season.
Meanwhile, Panorama's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their 12th straight loss. They took a serious blow against Kennedy, falling 63-30. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Panorama has suffered against Kennedy since December 5, 2018.
Despite the loss, Panorama got a solid performance out of YESSENIA QUEZADA, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Sylmar has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Panorama, they bumped their record down to 2-14 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Sylmar against Panorama in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 60-29 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was QUEZADA, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds.
