Logan View/Scribner-Snyder found their leader in sophomore Jayde Kreifels, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten boards. Kreifels is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 11 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emmery Kraus, who posted nine points in addition to six steals and five assists.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Bancroft-Rosalie humbled Homer with a 77-46 victory. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 23 points or more this season.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder better focus on containing Jaylynn James and Bailey Murphy as the pair were huge in Bancroft-Rosalie's win. James went 12-for-17 to rack up 26 points and six boards, while Murphy almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds. Those 26 points gave James a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kendra Beaudette, who scored eight points and four steals.
Bancroft-Rosalie has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.9 points over those games. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, their win bumped their record up to 7-14.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 30.3 boards per game.
