Dalton is a perfect 4-0 against Woodland since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Dalton Catamounts will head out on the road to face off against the Woodland Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Dalton is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Dalton and Vestavia Hills, and Dalton kept the tradition alive. Dalton put the hurt on Vestavia Hills with a sharp 4-0 victory on Tuesday. Given the Catamounts' advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked second in Georgia, while the Rebels are ranked 39th in Alabama), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Woodland's offense. They lost 5-0 to Cedartown on Tuesday.

Dalton's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four contests. As for Woodland, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Dalton beat Woodland by a goal when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dalton since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
