As a matter of fact, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial put up the most points they have all season on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 35-20 win over Donna North. The victory continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Chiefs: they've now won four in a row.

Nolan Ramirez had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 56 yards and two scores, and also threw for 221 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial's success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-3 otherwise. Miguel Olvera was another key player, rushing for 100 yards and one TD on only nine carries.
