Meanwhile, Cochranton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 36-30 to Maplewood. Cochranton has struggled against Maplewood recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Cochranton's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Shelby Mcbryar, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds, and Marley Rodax who scored nine points along with seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that Mcbryar pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Youngsville has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Cochranton, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 7-8.
