After only two runs in their last match, University made sure to put some runs up on the board against Buckhannon-Upshur on Tuesday. The Hawks put the hurt on the Buccaneers with a sharp 13-5 win. Maddie Campbell made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
