West Virginia High School Softball - University bounces Buckhannon-Upshur

In Tuesday's non-league match, the host University Hawks softball team scored a nice 13-5 win over the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers.

The Hawks (15-3) will now prepare for their match against Preston (Kingwood, WV). The Knights come into the non-league match with a 3-8 record. In their last match, Preston was routed by Lincoln (Shinnston, WV), 21-5, in a league match.

In their next game, the Buccaneers confront the Grafton Bearcats (Grafton, WV) in a Big Ten match, on Thursday, April 24. Buckhannon-Upshur will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Bearcats come into the match with a 10-4 record after their 18-0 league win over Liberty (Clarksburg, WV).
