Last week, Springfield lost to Murray County Central by a decisive 14-30 margin. Springfield's defeat came about despite a quality game from junior Decker Scheffler, who accumulated 181 passing yards and picked up 60 yards on the ground.
Meanwhile, Adrian were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 14-20 to Tracy-Milroy-Balaton.
