The Upper Dauphin Area Trojans won the last time they faced the Juniata Indians, and things went their way on Thursday too. Upper Dauphin Area took down Juniata 61-43. The win made it back-to-back wins for Upper Dauphin Area.
It was another big night for Gracie Griffiths, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 15 rebounds. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for her. Kasey Weibley was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven rebounds.
Upper Dauphin Area's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Juniata, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-3 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Upper Dauphin Area will finish 2023 at home by hosting Tri-Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Juniata won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Belleville Mennonite at 5:00 p.m. on December 22nd.
