IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.). After trailing 28-14 at halftime, the Chargers came out and scored 21 unanswered points and took their first lead of the game when five-star wide receiver
Jerome Myles hauled in his third touchdown of the night to make it 35-28 with 4:45 left.

The Chargers got a first down thanks to a defensive holding penalty on IMG Academy, then four-star junior quarterback
Helamen Casuga iced the game with a first down run to seal the 35-34 victory. Casuga threw for four touchdowns to give him 10 on the season.
The Monarchs went into halftime with a 22-17 lead.

Dominick Catalano got the start for the Huskies because five-star quarterback
Husan Longstreet did not play because of a foot injury. He kept the Inland Empire power in the game but the top-ranked Monarchs pulled away in the second half outscoring Matt Logan's bunch 23-8.
Mater Dei's defense forced three turnovers and special teams had two blocked punts with one getting returned for a score by
Tomuhini Topui. The Monarchs are off next week as they await No. 2

No. 2 Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) beat No. 11
St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) 29-21 in the Broward County Football Showcase to set up the 14th No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup on Sept. 6. The Gaels overcame a 21-10 deficit in the 3rd quarter with 19 unanswered points.
The Gaels took their first lead after a 3-yard touchdown run from
Terrance Grant with 6:44 left.
Alexander Perez and
Brayton Correa got interceptions on the Raiders next two drives to seal the victory. The win sets up a matchup at No. 1 Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) on Sept. 6. Both teams are idle next week.
Luke Nickel had another stellar night throwing for two scores as Georgia-bound tight end
Ethan Barbour shined. He finished with six receptions for 172 yards and had two total touchdowns.
TJ Lester racked up over 130 yards on the ground and two scores.
Malachi Toney and
Byron Louis both had impressive nights for the Patriots. Toney hauled in two touchdowns, while Louis rushed for over 150 yards and a score.
