Madison is 0-10 against the Cadets since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Madison Dragons will get right back to it and host the West Point-Beemer Cadets at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Madison's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell 44-31 to Neligh-Oakdale. Madison has not had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, West Point-Beemer unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They were dealt a 61-22 loss at the hands of Pender. West Point-Beemer was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-12.
Allie Kaup put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Madison has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for West Point-Beemer, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.
Madison was dealt a bruising 56-17 loss at the hands of the Cadets in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Madison was down 31-9.
