Mountlake Terrace can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Edmonds-Woodway with a sharp 73-49 win. Given Mountlake Terrace's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while Edmonds-Woodway is ranked 164th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Lynnwood, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-43 loss to Meadowdale on Tuesday.
Mountlake Terrace's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.4 points per game. As for Lynnwood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-16.
