They claimed a resounding 75-14 victory over Pilot Point on the road. Paradise's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Paradise's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Morgan Mitschke led the charge by scoring 16 points along with three steals. Gazey Yates was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
The win was the third in a row for Paradise, bringing their record for this year to 19-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Pilot Point, they bumped their record down to 1-17 with that loss, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paradise will take on Boyd at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Boyd will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1217th, while Paradise is ranked 216th). As for Pilot Point, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Callisburg at 5:30 p.m.
