Buckfield is 0-4 against Telstar since April of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. The Bucks will be playing at home against the Rebels at 3:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Buckfield sitting on three straight victories and Telstar on four.
Buckfield came out on top against Carrabec on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fourth inning. The Bucks took their contest against the Cobras 11-6. That's two games straight that the Bucks have won by exactly five runs.

Colby Belanger was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over seven innings pitched. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs.
In other batting news, Breydan Ridlon was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2025. Krosby Harvey was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Telstar). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Carrabec a 15-0 shutout on Wednesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Rebels with their most commanding win of the season.
Like Buckfield, Telstar also got a great game from a two-way player: Connor Deprey. Throwing, Deprey pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Brennan Walker struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Deprey has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single hit any time he's pitched this season. At bat, Deprey went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double, while Walker went 1-for-5 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Michael Early was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Owen Beaton, who got on base in both of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.
Telstar was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Carrabec only posted a batting average of .067.
Buckfield's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Telstar, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1-1.
Buckfield might still be hurting after the 10-4 loss they got from Telstar in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Will the Bucks have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
