It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Leadership had no problem doing just that  on Thursday. They strolled past the Oakland Charter Matadors with  points to spare, taking the game  33-17. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  37-29  back in January.

  Hannah Tagaga was  her usual excellent self,  dropping  a double-double with 11  points and 13  boards. What's more,  she also racked up four  steals, the most she's  had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Angela Carrasco, who  posted seven points and six  rebounds.
Leadership is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record  this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.3 points over those games. As for Oakland Charter, their loss was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-5.
 Leadership has already played their next match,  a  50-26  defeat against Coliseum College Prep Academy on the 10th. Oakland Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
