Sublette strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They strolled past the Kiowa County Mavericks with points to spare, taking the game 66-48.

Sublette's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joel Loya, who picked up 128 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Loya didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made three total tackles. Another signal caller making a difference was Drake Webber, who threw for 293 yards and seven TDs while completing 77.3% of his passes.

Sublette's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Kiowa County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sublette is set to square off against their familiar foe Meade at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Kiowa County will challenge rival South Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
