Bertha-Hewitt put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. Everything came up roses for them against Rothsay as the squad secured a 52-12 win. That looming 40-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Bertha-Hewitt yet.
The win got Bertha-Hewitt back to even at 4-4. Rothsay are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
After their action against one another, the teams are leaving the conference to test themselves against outside opponents. Bertha-Hewitt will square off against Wheaton/Herman-Norcross at 6:00 PM on Tuesday. Unlike Bertha-Hewitt, Wheaton/Herman-Norcross will be limping in after taking a loss. As for Rothsay, they will go up against Park Christian. Neither of these teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable defeat.
