For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when St. Mary and Lodi meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Rams blew past the Flames 10-1. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won 13 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Alex Escalante, who went 2-for-4 with three runs and one double. Ethan Silva was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

St. Mary's pushed their record up to 21-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Lodi, they moved to 20-7 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
