The Northeastern Bobcats can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against Dover as Northeastern made off with a 52-27 win. Given Northeastern's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while Dover is ranked 491st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Nylah Davis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points along with eight assists and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauralye Kennedy, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Northeastern's win bumped their record up to 17-1. As for Dover, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Northeastern and Susquehannock will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Northeastern is coming into the game with eight straight wins at home, so Susquehannock is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Dover, they will head out on the road to square off against Northern York at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
