Washington can attribute much of their success to Olivia Woods, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds, and Kaprice Johnson, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Woods pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Taraysia Finley, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
The win got Bethlehem Center back to even at 5-5. Washington's record is now 4-7.
Bethlehem Center was taken down by Washington 47-20 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Bethlehem Center was down 28-8.
