The Steel Valley Ironmen will head out on the road to square off against the Brashear Bulls at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Steel Valley has now lost 13 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 6.
Last Thursday, Steel Valley was beaten by the 58-29.
In what's become a running theme this season, Brashear gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They blew past Carrick, posting a 47-17 victory on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Brashear.
It was another big night for Ra'Nyah Morris, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below three steals for four straight games. Ariana Sherrill was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals.
Steel Valley dropped their record down to 1-15 with that loss, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Brashear, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
Steel Valley came up short against the Bulls when the teams last played back in December of 2016, falling 51-44. Can Steel Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
