Marist extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Walnut Grove. They blew past the Warriors 13-1. The result was nothing new for the War Eagles, who have now won 23 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the 13th in a row for Marist, bringing their record up to 28-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Walnut Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-13.

Marist will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair will be back at it again later today.
