Casa Grande is a perfect 10-0 against Windsor since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Gauchos are taking a road trip to challenge the Jaguars at 12:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Casa Grande 2, Windsor 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Casa Grande will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Justin-Siena on Thursday. The Gauchos blew past the Braves 10-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Gauchos have posted against the Braves since May 26, 2021.

Jack Mountanos was excellent, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Abel Nolasco also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Meanwhile, Windsor came tearing into Saturday's contest with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Bulldogs. That's two games straight that the Jaguars have won by just one run.
Adrian Rosiles was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Rosiles was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Noah Strozewski, who got on base in five of his six plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Roman Torres, who went 2-for-5 with two runs and one triple.
Casa Grande pushed their record up to 16-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Windsor, their record now sits at 15-6.
Casa Grande came out on top in a nail-biter against Windsor when the teams last played back in April of 2023, sneaking past 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gauchos since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
