Northview and Jay are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2023, but likely not for long. The Chiefs will take on the Royals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Northview is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Baker with a sharp 14-1 win. The victory was nothing new for the Chiefs as they're now sitting on six straight.
Peyton Womack was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March.
