Kohelet Yeshiva's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost to New Foundations at home by a decisive 47-28 margin. Kohelet Yeshiva lost against New Foundations in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 48-27 score last time.
Ava A was her usual excellent self, scoring 21 points for New Foundations. That makes it three consecutive games in which A has scored at least 25% of New Foundations' points. Another player making a difference was Giziah F, who scored 11 points.
Kohelet Yeshiva bumped their record down to 0-3 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for New Foundations, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kohelet Yeshiva will challenge Kimberton Waldorf at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Foundations, they will head out on the road to face off against MAST Community Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
