On Friday Houston take on Grand Meadow at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps national rankings project a close contest.
Houston had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They made easy work of Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons last week and carried off a 38-6 victory.
Meanwhile, Grand Meadow gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener. They walked away with a 14-7 win.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 1-0. While both teams are coming in off of wins, only one will triumph this week. Who will it be ? Check back in with MaxPreps after the game is over for details.
