Holy Redeemer stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past Wyoming Seminary College Prep 46-24. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Holy Redeemer has posted against Wyoming Seminary College Prep since January 14, 2021.
Holy Redeemer's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Bella Boylan, who scored ten points along with seven steals and five rebounds, and Brooke Kroptavich, who scored 11 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Kroptavich hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Angelina Corridoni, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Greater Nanticoke Area was fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Wyoming Area 70-39 at home. Given Greater Nanticoke Area's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 189th, while Wyoming Area is ranked 538th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Holy Redeemer pushed their record up to 10-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Holy Redeemer didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Greater Nanticoke Area when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 53-49 win.
