Baseball Game Preview: Central Georgia Arts vs. Stratford Academy Eagles

Central Georgia Arts came out on top against Covenant Academy on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run third inning. Central Georgia Arts blew past Covenant Academy 10-2. With that victory, Central Georgia Arts brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Harrison Strange was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Maddox Brooks, who went 3-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Stratford Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 9-2 to Piedmont Academy.

Central Georgia Arts pushed their record up to 16-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Stratford Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.
