The Bremen Braves will square off against the Hancock Eagles at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Bremen's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Argo with a sharp 6-0 win.

Aiden Gonzales made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. Bremen is 2-1 when Gonzales allows three or fewer hits, but 8-13 otherwise. Gonzales was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aidan Mansanarez, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Bremen's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 7-1 (and 3-13 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Casey Mansanarez, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hancock, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over Muchin College Prep on Thursday.
Like Bremen, Hancock also got a great game from a two-way player: Eduardo Hernandez. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Hernandez has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run, three stolen bases, and two runs.
In other batting news, Ryan Ostrowski was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and one triple while going 4-for-4. That triple was his first of the season. Saul Martinez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
Hancock always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .621. They are a perfect 11-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Hancock has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-11-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Bremen, their win bumped their record up to 10-14.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal. Bremen has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Hancock struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
