Galloway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-6 heartbreaker at the hands of The Weber School Rams. On the bright side, the six- run effort marked the Scots' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Matthew Edmonds was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was his first of the season.

Galloway's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for The Weber School, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Galloway will take on Holy Spirit Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for The Weber School, they will welcome Atlanta Jewish Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
