The Ridgeview Wolf Pack suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They were outmatched by Bakersfield Christian on the road and fell 67-31. Ridgeview has not had much luck with Bakersfield Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Among those leading the charge was Destiny Francies, who scored eight points along with 13 rebounds and five assists. She hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava King, who scored nine points along with 13 rebounds.
Ridgeview has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Bakersfield Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.
Ridgeview's road trip will continue as they head out to face Independence at 6:30 p.m. on January 17th. Independence is on a three-game streak of home losses, Ridgeview a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. Bakersfield Christian will take on Garces Memorial at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Garces Memorial comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 17 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
