Claxton never got on the board in their matchup on Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against McIntosh County Academy on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Buccaneers with a sharp 12-0 victory. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Claxton's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for McIntosh County Academy, they dropped their record down to 6-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
