The Wyalusing Valley Rams will play host again and welcome the Wellsboro Hornets, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Wednesday, Wyalusing Valley had to suffer through a rough 71-40 loss at the hands of Williamson. While losing is never fun, Wyalusing Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 493rd, while Williamson is ranked 242nd).
Meanwhile, Wellsboro didn't have quite enough to beat Williamson on Friday and fell 28-25. Wellsboro has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Wyalusing Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Wellsboro, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Wyalusing Valley beat Wellsboro 47-40 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Will Wyalusing Valley repeat their success, or does Wellsboro have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
