There's no place like home for Overton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past the Cushing Bearkats, posting a 71-31 victory. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Overton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Edwards, who went 12 for 17 on his way to 26 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Edwards a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Hall, who went 5 of 10 en route to 12 points along with seven boards and six assists.

Overton is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.2 points per game. As for Cushing, they dropped their record down to 7-14 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
