Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dixon). They really took it to the Woodland Wolves for the full four quarters, racking up a 67-31 victory. With the Rams ahead 39-10 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Emily Morris continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 25 points and nine steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Jordin Callen, who posted eight points in addition to ten rebounds and six assists.

Dixon smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Despite the defeat, Woodland saw an underclassman step up: freshman Presley Pinegar put up 12 points and five rebounds. That was a full 38.7% of Woodland's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucy Lopez, who posted four points and five rebounds.

Dixon's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8. As for Woodland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dixon will head out to face off against Natomas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Woodland, they are taking a road trip to take on Destiny Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
